Information for those presenting

General information on the presentations

In order to maximize diversity, up to two presentations per person are permitted at the congress. Only one of the two presentations can be a plenary presentation. This also applies to co-authorships of papers. Activities as a juror, moderator or organizer of congress events are not considered lectures, provided that they are only introductory words to the event. With the exception of short introductions, moderators and jurors of plenary events may not speak at their own event.

All speakers and organizers must officially register as participants in the congress and be members of the DGS. If you would like to apply for membership in the DGS and take advantage of the Early Bird rate when registering for the DGS Congress, please submit your application for membership by Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at the latest (receipt at the office by e-mail to JanDirk.Hoffmann(at)kwi-nrw.de or by conventional mail). DGS members can attend the congress at a reduced admission price. The Early Bird rate is valid until May 31, 2025.
Applications received after this date will unfortunately not be considered for membership before the Early Bird rate expires.

Lecture announcements in the main program

For the announcements of the presentations, all speakers must submit a maximum 2,400-character (including spaces) summary of their presentation online via the conference platform ConfTool by May 11, 2025. You will find the link for submission on this homepage from 01.02.2022. Due to the system, it is necessary for authors to submit their contributions themselves. The order of the presentations in the events is determined by the organizers themselves.

Information on the congress volume

After the end of the congress, all speakers will be asked by the editors of the congress volume to write up their contribution so that it can be published in the congress volume.
